Our Great Escape!

Another milestone and another diploma to prove it!!! We are making our way slowly but surely. The boys are doing well and continue to grow. We think they've probably reached 4 lbs. by now, which is so exciting. We should have another ultrasound sometime this week, so we'll see then where they are.

Here's the proof for all of you who don't believe me when I say...I'm huge!!! I just have to remind myself that I have 2 babies inside!!! This is the outfit I was wearing the day I was admitted, however, 2 months ago I looked quite a bit different. It is amazing what our bodies can do. I'm just not sure how much more I can handle!
I got to escape the hospital for a few hours today!!! I'd been looking forward to it all week. It's been 8 weeks since I've been home, so needless to say, I was anxious to see our home! This chair has been waiting for me and it was fun to finally see it and enjoy it! My time at home was wonderful and I'm hoping it helps me get through the next 2 weeks.

Yipee for home! I honestly think about you all time and wonder how you do it! You look cute as can be! The human body is pretty odd how your tummy can stretch to the oddest extremes! It'll go back in no time though- don't worry!

you look great!
I can't believe how long you have been at the hospital... your boys will never know how many thank yous
you deserve. Congrats... your house is cute.
My due date moved up! I graduated a week without living it... that is awesome to me. Although I do enjoy pregnancy much more after the first trimester. It is fun. I am now due on April 29th. So... we will see!
I can't wait for the day when I check your blog and there are pictures of 2 beautiful boys and their mom at her own house!!
It is sooner than you thinK!

Amy! Yep...your tummy is nice and big and just as is should be with two boys in there, but it is funny because the rest of you is soo tiny! I think you are too cute!! It is true how amazing the body is...you have two little humans inside of you...and once they come out it is even weirder to look at them and think they came out of you. Carter is 17 months and Josh and I still look at each other and say "Can you believe we created that?!!?!" Then you might start thinking..."Hey! I grew you in my tummy for 9 months and you should listen to what I say and be thankful!...that argument never works though...oh well. I am so happy for you making it this far...you have done so well and I am jealous of your chair...I want a big, fluffy comfortable chair to sit my big, fluffy body in!! Like Katy said...I can't wait to click on your blog and see pictures of two sweet little boys and you all together at home!!

I can't believe how such a tiny little body can hold such a big belly! I kind of expected you to get a big butt or a big something being bed-ridden all that time! But no! You are absolutely tiny! Just wait til the babies come out...you'll really hate your belly then..ahahah..oh the memories.. :) Anyway, congrats on 32+ weeks!

I am sure you feel huge, but to the rest of us you look tiny to be carrying TWO boys!!

I hope that going home gave you some extra strength to see this to the end. Look how far you have made it! It is amazing. Your positive attitude and a devoted husband have something to do with it, I am sure;)

GOOD LUCK!!

Amy and Shane,
Congratulations on your big trip! I am sure it felt so good to go home for a few hours. I was just trying to imagine either of you in that nice big chair, with two little boys climbing all over you! Give those nurses and doctors a big THANK YOU from all of us that love you. Between them, and the Lord, and both of you, this has been an amazing experience. Thank you for sharing it with us. Our prayers are still with you, as well as those being said in the Jordan River Temple each day.
Love,
Carol & Gord
