Two months old!!!

On Sunday, the twins reached two months old! I can't believe it. To celebrate, we went to the doctor for our check up and the dreaded shots. They continue to do well. Cade is now 20 1/2 inches long and weighes 9'7". Carson is 22 inches long and weighes 9'1"! So, Carson is taller and weighes less. No wonder Cade is looking so chubbs to me! He's our little butterball and I love it! They've made it onto the charts as well. Cade is in the 7th percentile and Carson is in the 5th percentile! The Doc was pleased with their growth and says they are right on track. Woo Hoo! Alright, I know that shots are supposed to be good and all but man...I never want to do that again. I'm already dreading the ones in two months. That was horrible! Cade went first...all happy on the table and then on the count of three gets taken off guard with 3 pokes in his legs. Listening to him scream and cry was almost unbarable and then I have to go through the whole thing again with Carson. Isn't there a better way to do this??? I soothed Cade while Grandma Tucker soothed Carson. Oh man, it was not fun. They had kind of a fussy night last night but seem to be doing well today. Hopefully their little legs aren't too sore. The pains of motherhood, right?!? I'm sure the mothers can all relate. Here are some recent pictures of our boys.

This was on Sunday. They were in these cute little sweaters and the marked 2 months so we couldn't resist pictures. However, we didn't really get one with both of them looking straight on...isn't that always the case! They are still cute though. Cade on the left with Carson on the right.

Taking a Sunday snooze. Don't let this photo fool you...it only lasted for about 15 minutes before they woke up ready to eat!

Cute little Cade.
So, they blew out of their diapers at the same time and I had the thought...why do we dress them anyway? They just spit up and get dirty again! So, we hung out the rest of the day in our little onesies. I wrapped them up tight to make sure they stayed nice and warm! Cade on the left.

Carson attempting a smile. He's not quite there but he's getting pretty darn close!

Back in Boise

These bibs came from Aunt Michelle, who also has twins! Cade's is kinda hard to read. It says "If you think I'm cute, you should see my twin!"
I'm learning how to be a really good multi-tasker! I'm finding that I need everything and everyone within arms reach all the time just in case one of them loses it unexpectedly! I still have a lot to learn!
Carson was being so cute and so patient while I was feeding Cade. His little face is just the cutest & I love his little hoodie!

So, pretty much this is one of the greatest inventions ever! Shane tried it out with Carson and it was a huge success. I was able to make dinner last night while I packed around Cade. He was really wanting to be held and it worked out perfect. Plus, it's a pretty good workout!

Fun with Nan and Dillon!

It was so great to spend time with Natalie and Dillon. We were just hanging out being mommies together and it was so fun!!! I wish we could do it more often. They were also huge helpers with Cade & Carson...pretty sure they are missing them! Now they only have mom & dad to hold them...boring! We attempted some cousin pictures with Dillon. This is what we got! (I'm a little slow and can't figure out why it's underlining my text...sorry!) Dillon, Cade, & Carson

Carson loves to put his hands on the bottle when he eats. He even successfully held it on his own. It was pretty cute and we couldn't resist getting the picture!

We love you guys!

Here are some more pictures of our time in Twin. There are a lot! Everything continues to go well. I'll be in Twin for one more week before breaking away to head back to Boise.

Aunt Natalie with Carson...she's been so great!!! I think she changes more diapers than I do!
Cade's little hand!
Aunt Lauren was sick but still really wanted to hold the babies. So, she came up with a homemade mask...pretty funny!!!
Ready to go for a ride!
I went to change Cade's diaper and busted up laughing when he had a plummer's crack! You can't really see it in this picture but it was pretty cute.
Cade is looking chubbier every day! I love it!
Carson hangin' in his bouncy seat!

I feed them bottles at the same time during the night. It's been pretty slick and saves me tons of time and they are so cute when they are eating right next to each other!!!

Campin' out in Twin!!!

I thought I would post a quick update. We didn't put a lot of text with our pictures. Our trip to Twin Falls for Christmas was a huge success and I'm so glad we decided to load up the boys to be with family. My parents have been great...rearranging the house to accomodate us. I am so greatful for their flexibility. Shane is back in Boise for work, but I decided to stay a little longer. My sisters are here and I have some extra help. Aaron, Nan, and Dillon will be here in two days so I thought I'd stay and spend time with them...and enjoy more help!!! I know I need to break away and do this on my own, but I figure that help won't be available like it is now forever so I better take it while I can! There's lots of time to be on my own...right!!!

The boys are growing like weeds!!! I can't believe how big they are getting. They are still so small, but they are looking pretty chubbs to me...considering where they've come!!! They are just the sweetest babes. I'm a lucky mama! I'm looking forward to the time of more sleep, but most experienced moms tell me that it won't happen until they are grown and out of the house!

I feel like a new woman with my hair chopped! I had lots of time to prepare for it while I was in the hospital! I love it...it takes like 5 minutes to do and more time is what I need most!!!
It's been fun to see all our friends and family over the holidays! We are grateful for continued love and support. We still have more pictures to post soon!!!
