Birthday Treat

For my birthday this last weekend, we headed to Salt Lake to go see The Lion King on Broadway at the Capitol Theatre. For Shane, this was a sacrifice. Not because he doesn't like doing things like this. He does. But as many of you probably know, College Game Day came to Boise on Saturday. This was kind of a big deal. And we were in Utah. But it was my birthday...and he spoiled me rotten. But I'm sure I'll hear about it until the day I die!

Anyway, it was AMAZING! So worth it. My Mom watched the little boys (thanks Mom!). We had a great time. Lindsay and Wynn are wonderful hosts and it was a treat to spend the weekend in their home. And don't worry about Shane. He got to watch the game that night on Wynn's awesomly ginormous TV. Thanks for saving the day Wynn! Yay for Birthdays!!!

"I sure did!"

That was Cade's response when I asked him if he found an apple. I was playing with Carson in his room when I noticed that Cade had been quiet for way too long. This is where I found him. He loves apples and loves to eat them right off the core. But he isn't a fan of the skin...I usually peel it for him. So he took care of the skins himself and spit them out all over the floor as he went along eating the apple. And you better believe he was super proud of himself.

The Price of a Shower

It is amazing that I can even type right now. Four keys have yet to be replaced. That particular shower wasn't worth it!

Beauty...for all to see!

Lauren went with us for family pictures to help keep the boys' attention. She was also able to get some pictures taken (since she has yet to have any senior pictures done). I think they turned out great. She is gorgeous and so photogenic. She is such a fun girl and the life of the party! Love you Lauren!

Mini's

It has always been thought that Carson is a mini-Shane. But recently, I have been thinking otherwise. The other day I took the boys into Shane's office for a lunch date, and of course we had to say hi to all the women in the office. They all thought Cade was the walking Shane and Carson looked more like me. Hmmm...maybe they are both mini's of their Dad. What do you think...see any of me in Carson?
Mom, I can't believe you let me where this mid-drift-baring sweater. How scandalous of me!

The Hunny & Me

Family Pictures!

We had family pictures done a little over a week ago. Now I'm mulling over them, trying to decide what to develop and display. Any suggestions would be awesome. And to the Grandparents...you need to decide which ones you want!!!

Carson...Favorite???

Cade...which is your favorite?
