One Year Older and Wiser Too!

Happy Birthday to my sweet hubby! On Thursday, Shane turned the big 28! Closer and closer to 30...crazy!!! This is a picture of Shane at 3 months of age. I wonder where Carson gets his good looks!
We had a small party that evening to celebrate. Shane's parents brought us some yummy dinner and cake. We are kind of home-bodies and our two little ones tend to make us even more so. We enjoyed our night home together with Grandma and Grandpa Tucker.
This was the activity of the day for me and the boys...getting all of Daddy's birthday things together!

Fun Pictures!!!

We ventured out on a family date and went to dinner at Red Robin. We got the boys all bundled...they looked so cute! While we were there, we just felt like we were on display the whole time. We had multiple people stop by to take a look at the twins. People react so funny to twins...we need to get better at being social with complete strangers! We even got some sympathy from one couple. They had an extra coupon and brought it over to us saying, "It looks like you have your hands full and could use this!" We happily took the offer! It was pretty funny. This is little Carson ready to go!

This is what Cade looks like when I put him in his bed. The next picture is the position that I found him in when he woke up! How does he do this???
Completely out of his blankets...at the top of the crib...in a horizontal position! So funny!

Our two little burrito babies! We are big on swaddling. They eventually work themselves out of it, but when I'm trying to calm them down to get them ready to sleep...this really seems to help!

We've had some beautiful weather the past couple of weeks and it has been nice to get out to get some fresh air. Our stroller is awesome! Their carseats just snap right in...so convenient. It's pretty easy to manuever too which is really nice. I feel like an eye-soar when we're out...what can you do!

3 Month Update!

Cade & Carson are just over three months now. I can't believe it! They are getting so big and are getting cuter everyday. It's so fun to see their little personalities more and more. They are SOOO different and so individual. It is so fun to see them start to grow and develop side by side...truly a unique experience. They are now sleeping through the night...on average 8 to 9 hours. I am so proud of them! They are happy babies in the morning...and they have a happy mommy (which is always a good thing)! I really can't complain. Life is good. Shane and I are enjoying this phase in our lives and are excited for what is ahead. Granted, it will be crazy but hopefully it's a good crazy! Here are the professional pictures we had done for them about two weeks ago.

This is the one shot of Cade that we got of him smiling. I was worried it wouldn't turn out...but it looks pretty darn cute to me!
I absolutely LOVE this picture. It captures both of their little personalities perfectly. They put Cade's arm around Carson...Carson is loving it and Cade...not so much!
This is a classic Cade look. His little eyebrows rarely leave this position! Well, that's not entirely true. Just in the last week he has gotten a lot more smiley. He just tends to be a little more serious.
This is the one good shot we got of Carson before he decided to throw up all over himself! As a mother, you try so hard to make everything perfect. No matter what you do, there are some things you just can't control!

Surround Sound

This video was taken a while ago when we were at Grandma Lori's house. We were downstairs and we heard a cry coming from the bedroom with the crib. As usual, we tried to guess whether it was Cade or Carson. Turns out, it was both of them. For your listening pleasure, we present Cade and Carson.

The new bottles

These bottles were suggested to us by another mother of multiples. We tried them for the first time last night. It's pretty funny to watch. Enjoy.
