Conference Weekend

Taking an afternoon snooze with Cade. Watching all that conference is exhausting!!!
Carson loves his Daddy and thinks he's pretty funny. I love these pictures.
Look how smart our son is...he already knows how to sign "I Love You!"

We spent Sunday morning with our friends Jason & Christy. They made such a yummy breakfast before the morning session. It was nice to spend some down time with them...we don't get to enough. This is Jason with Carson.
Jason & Christy live up in Wilderness Ranch...they pretty much own their own mountain! It is absolutely beautiful. This the the view outside their kitchen...to die for!!!

Ode To Our Tax Man!

We love our tax man...Shane! However, we don't love how busy he is. He doesn't get to be home with us much these days. Ironically, he's not busy doing taxes, rather Audit work. We love him and appreciate all he is doing to take care of us. We had a little photo shoot in their "Tax Deduction" onesies in honor of him. We hope he likes the results!!! We are so excited that April is here...Shane will get to be home more often very soon and we can't wait! We love you Daddy!

This guy has got some cheeks!!! I love them...especially when he looks like he doesn't have a neck!
Little Carson Man just being cute for the camera!
Yes...we have discovered our fingers! We LOVE them!!! Who needs toys when you've got fingers??? They just don't really know when to stop...they are gagging themselves quite often! They'll learn, right?!
Cade & Carson

Love this close up of Cade
They both have such big eyes. Aren't they looking more and more different? Some people still think they look identical...not even close!!!:)

We Hate Shots!

Today our boys went in to see the Doctor for their 4 month check up. I still can't believe they are already 4 months old. The visit included the dreaded immunization shots...hate them and as you can see, Carson hates them too! Despite a little crying, they are doing super. The doc was very pleased with their growth and progress. They are both right on track on the growth curve...still a little small for their age but are right where they need to be.

Carson has passed up Cade big time. So funny to watch just because he was smaller for so long. He is about 2 inches longer and weighs a little more than a pound more. Here are his stats:

Height: 24.5 inches
Weight: 13 pounds
Head Circum: 40.3

Way to go Carson!!!

Cade is just a little thing. He's got short, little, skinny legs...surprise, surprise! He is still right on track and the doctor has no concerns. They are two different babies with different genetics. It will be fun to watch them continue to grow. I'm sure they'll become more and more different with age. Here are Cade's stats:

Height: 23 inches
Weight: 11 pounds 14 ounces
Head Circum: 40.8

Good job Cade...Mommy is proud!

These are just a few pictures to point out their little differences!

Carson's tummy is bigger, arms are bigger, legs are chunky..er! Yep, he's pretty much bigger all around! Carson is on the left.
Again, Carson is on the left. And for those of you who haven't seen it...Carson does have a little hernia on his belly button but it is closing up more and more everyday. The doctor was really pleased with how much that has improved. Poor little boys. I'm totally exposing them to the whole world!

We've been blessed with the cutest little boys. I'm so proud to be their mother. They make me want to be better each day and have made our home so much fun. We love being parents and we love having twins. We can't imagine only having one of them. We feel so blessed to have them both. It brings along a lot of challenges but the fun and blessings that have come far out-weigh the challenges. Life is good!

Recent Pictures

Carson is such a smiley little boy but for some reason, I can't seem to capture it very well on camera. Still so cute!
Love this close up of Cade. Same thing...you want me to smile???
We tried out our side-by-side double stroller (thanks to my friends at Washington Mutual...I miss you!) for the first time the other night. It was a little chilly outside so it was a quick trip. They look like such big boys in it.
This is one thing I ablsolutely HATE doing and seem to be doing it ALL OF THE TIME!!! Why do their nails have to grow so fast??? I'm getting better at it...I get it done quick!

Deer in the headlights look for both of them! Cade on the left...Carson on the right!
This picture is so funny of Carson. The had was a little too small but it was all I had! He looks like a little elf but a happy elf at that!!!

Carson loves to play on his tummy only when he's propped up on the boppy. Aren't boppies the greatest!?
Oh so cute!
This was too precious of Carson. He likes to have something to hold onto when he sleeps. He's cuddling with his lion friend Roary!!!

Cade is rolling! He goes from his tummy to his back all the time...it's so cute! He loves to arch his little back. He topples over no problem. He surprisingly is a happy boy on his tummy.
Look how high I can hold my head!!!

One Year Older and Wiser Too!

Happy Birthday to my sweet hubby! On Thursday, Shane turned the big 28! Closer and closer to 30...crazy!!! This is a picture of Shane at 3 months of age. I wonder where Carson gets his good looks!
We had a small party that evening to celebrate. Shane's parents brought us some yummy dinner and cake. We are kind of home-bodies and our two little ones tend to make us even more so. We enjoyed our night home together with Grandma and Grandpa Tucker.
This was the activity of the day for me and the boys...getting all of Daddy's birthday things together!

Fun Pictures!!!

We ventured out on a family date and went to dinner at Red Robin. We got the boys all bundled...they looked so cute! While we were there, we just felt like we were on display the whole time. We had multiple people stop by to take a look at the twins. People react so funny to twins...we need to get better at being social with complete strangers! We even got some sympathy from one couple. They had an extra coupon and brought it over to us saying, "It looks like you have your hands full and could use this!" We happily took the offer! It was pretty funny. This is little Carson ready to go!
Cade ready to go!
Close up of Carson

This is what Cade looks like when I put him in his bed. The next picture is the position that I found him in when he woke up! How does he do this???
Completely out of his blankets...at the top of the crib...in a horizontal position! So funny!

Our two little burrito babies! We are big on swaddling. They eventually work themselves out of it, but when I'm trying to calm them down to get them ready to sleep...this really seems to help!
How can you not love these two little faces!? Carson on the left...Cade on the right!

We've had some beautiful weather the past couple of weeks and it has been nice to get out to get some fresh air. Our stroller is awesome! Their carseats just snap right in...so convenient. It's pretty easy to manuever too which is really nice. I feel like an eye-soar when we're out...what can you do!

3 Month Update!

Cade & Carson are just over three months now. I can't believe it! They are getting so big and are getting cuter everyday. It's so fun to see their little personalities more and more. They are SOOO different and so individual. It is so fun to see them start to grow and develop side by side...truly a unique experience. They are now sleeping through the night...on average 8 to 9 hours. I am so proud of them! They are happy babies in the morning...and they have a happy mommy (which is always a good thing)! I really can't complain. Life is good. Shane and I are enjoying this phase in our lives and are excited for what is ahead. Granted, it will be crazy but hopefully it's a good crazy! Here are the professional pictures we had done for them about two weeks ago.

This is the one shot of Cade that we got of him smiling. I was worried it wouldn't turn out...but it looks pretty darn cute to me!
I absolutely LOVE this picture. It captures both of their little personalities perfectly. They put Cade's arm around Carson...Carson is loving it and Cade...not so much!
This is a classic Cade look. His little eyebrows rarely leave this position! Well, that's not entirely true. Just in the last week he has gotten a lot more smiley. He just tends to be a little more serious.
This is the one good shot we got of Carson before he decided to throw up all over himself! As a mother, you try so hard to make everything perfect. No matter what you do, there are some things you just can't control!

Surround Sound

This video was taken a while ago when we were at Grandma Lori's house. We were downstairs and we heard a cry coming from the bedroom with the crib. As usual, we tried to guess whether it was Cade or Carson. Turns out, it was both of them. For your listening pleasure, we present Cade and Carson.

The new bottles

These bottles were suggested to us by another mother of multiples. We tried them for the first time last night. It's pretty funny to watch. Enjoy.
