Cruisin' Part Three

One of the activities available on our ship was rock climbing.  It was awesome mostly because the 200 ft. wall sat on the very top of the ship...the highest point overlooking the ocean.  So cool.  We had to get to the top!  It was one of the first things we did on that extra "at sea" day.

 Giving a blurry thumbs up!
 Jeremy all ready to go...
I'm not sure what was happening here.....
My path was the dark blue.  It looked so much easier than it actually was.  The rocks were all slippery and I thought multiple times that for sure that I was going to fall.  Felt like I was hanging on for dear life!
Shane ended up on a side wall and we sadly ended up with no pictures of him.  I guess it's okay.  They aren't that flattering!
Almost ready to ring that bell at the top!
 Rock wall: Check.  Downward Ho

I love this picture of the three of us.  We had just finished and were watching Phil and Brooke.
That night was our first of 2 formal nights.  So we got all gussied up for a night on the town...err...kind of!  This was so fun...mostly just prepping for it.  Debbie and I shopped together for our dresses and it was fun for the gals to put it all together.  Katie even altered her dress beforehand and it turned out amazing!  And helping each other get all ready that night was fun.  I'm sure the brothers experienced some male bonding as well.  I think they were pumped to show one another their...ties!  Not near as fun for the men!
Our dinners together were definitely the highlight of the trip for us.  We scored literally the BEST table in the dining room.  The Captain's Table.  It was a single table, set alone out on a balcony, in between the two levels.  It was so beautiful and so private.  Each night, a new couple was in charge of coming up with a topic for discussion.  They ranged from mission experiences, to wild animal encounters, to our romantic love stories, to childhood memories.  We were the last to leave the dining room almost every night.  Lots of love and laughter shared.
 The view from our seats
This group shot was actually on the 2nd formal night but it's a great shot of our private balcony table.
And now for the shoe shot.  An absolute must!!!
Ladies of the night.  Don't you love Debbie and Katie in this shot?!  I do!
And the men.
Jeremy and Debbie
Phillip and Brooke
Brady and Katie

Tom and Annette

And the whole Fam!  We ended up taking professional pictures on the 2nd formal night, which I'm kind of regretting.  I think we should have done it this first night when we were all fresh.  We were a little less enthused by the 2nd night toward the end of the week.  But we still ended up with some good pictures.  I LOVE this family!

When I was reading this I was thinking how I can't even imagine what it would be like to sit talking like that at a dinner table for a few nights in a row just giggle till late. not worrying about the babysitter or worrying that I'm taking to long and needing to rush home. It sounds SO amazing to do that, no guilt! It does sound like it would be a wonderful bonding experience. I really like the idea of coming up with a topic. what a cool family.
you all look so beautiful. Was the all black planned?
