We All Have Bad Days

Fortunately for Bear, he has Cade to take care of him when he's feeling down. Cade let me know that Bear was sad...and then sick...and then tired...and then cold. When Cade is cold, he always asks for a towel, so of course that's what Bear needed. Good thing I still have their old burp cloth towels in the closet! Cade also likes to be cuddled in the recliner when he's not feeling up to par. Cade was a good little care-taker. He cuddled and kissed Bear in the recliner until things started to look up.

Kisses

Cade is just the cutest (well, except for Carson, he's pretty cute too). His vocabulary surprises me every single day. Lately, he's been really in to, "Hey Mom, check it out!" Sure Cade, I'll "check it out"...have no idea where he got that. Yesterday he walked into our room where Shane and I were catching up on our days and said, "Hey, whatcha guys talkin' about?" We both cracked up laughing. And for the last month or so, Cade rarely says "Mommy" or "Daddy." Shane and I are officially "Mom" and "Dad" now for Cade, and I HATE it! I don't even want to answer to it. I'm a Mommy...not a Mom. There's a difference and I'm not ready to be the latter.

These boys are just growing up too fast. Yesterday I watched Cade slurp his milk from his cereal bowl (one of all time favorite things to do) and then ride his tricycle up and down our street with such ease. It was a bittersweet moment. I love watching them grow up and I hate it all at the same time. I know it's normal, but those conflicting feelings still surprise me. Probably always will.

I love the new family pictures. Your boys sounds so sweet. I can't wait to meet them someday. sorry about the whole girl thing. They switched genders on me when I moved to UT. It was a boy then a girl adn then confirmed it after my ultrasound after the accident. She better come out a girl or he is going to be wearing girl clothes. :) PS YOu look great!
