Part III: Reunited and the Park

This was taken just before we downed some hardcore greasy southern food. Our meal included fried pickles, fried green tomatoes, fried corn on the cob, fried chicken, fried catfish, and french fries. No. I'm not kidding. By the end of the week, I think I was oozing grease out of my pores.

And we hit a pretty fun park. The weather was perfect and the boys were in heaven with two things they love: parks and grandparents! Can life get any better?
(P.S. Carson is a bit favored in the park pictures. Shane followed him around and got some cute ones. Cade sat in his swing, content as ever, the entire time.)

I love this picture.
He thought this was a slide. It's not.

Happy, happy boys!

Good ol' southern cookin'! I've always said that if my parents didn't move us out of the south, I would probably be obese by now. The food is sooo good but so so bad!

One of my fav. foods down here is fried pickles! They are not all created equal though...so I hope yours were good. I only like them if they are cut in the chips...not the whole spear...and if they are too greasy then they are no good...but we have a fav. place here in town that makes them sooooo good...they are THE BEST thing ever.

But yeah...everything is fried. Like cooking in my own kitchen I NEVER fry anything...I don't think I even know how. But down here everyone fries up everything. Where I am at though it is more about the BBQ more than anything.

Anyhow...That park also looks similar to the one we have in town. Carter thought it was the same park...he has a blast there and asks to go everyday.

You are taking too long to post...haha...I want to see everything and your whole trip!

Oh my gosh. That picture of him trying to go down that "slide" made me roll. How hilarious. And anticlimactic.
