Stocking Project: CHECK!

This isn't the greatest picture of this super cute stocking. The lighting isn't that great. But it's finished!!! I have my mom to thank. I love it and Cade loves it. It is perfect for him! So that makes FIVE stockings completed! Phew! It feels to be done. Good thing we started in JANUARY!!! So glad I decided to take on this project. It has been fun. Hopefully my kids love them...'cause they're stuck with 'em!!! For those of you who are thinking about making one, right after Christmas, they are 1/2 the cost. Around $7.00 for the kit. It's a good time to buy and then you have the whole next year to do it!

oh good to know about the price cut...Julie wanted me to make one and I looked at the kits and thought..."isn't the point of making stuff supposed to be to save money"...so I just couldn't buy one...especially not being confident in my ability to actually complete it...but now you have given me hope:) I just might purchase them off season...and I really do think it will take me an entire year to complete! Yours look great! Way to go! Those stocking will hold such special memories for the boys...so good job!

That looks awesome! Good job on finally being done with all of them, must be a nice feeling! I'm still working on Preston's, I have almost half of it done. I better get going since it's almost November!!

Hey that's the one I'm doing right now! I'm taking a break because I have no desire to do those little marshmallows. Ugh. But it's been kinda fun. And it's an understatement when you say it takes forever and a day. Holy. Crap. I'm waiting to get the next ones after Christmas.

I'm so jealous of them! I think I might have to get started after Christmas this year. I actually did make ones for Brett, Ethan and me, but yours are by far cuter. So I would have six to make. Where do you get them at?

PS You asked me about where I live the other day, are you thinking about moving here? Just curious. Julie stopped by my house to pick up all my maternity clothes so I asked but she didn't know. I would honestly pick somewhere closer to Meridian if it were me, after living here I've found that Nampa is not my favorite place.
