Ironic

I recently did a post/tag where I revealed a few things about me. One of which was the fact that I have had a hard time going to Ward Choir despite the fact that I love music and love to sing. This last week, I was called as the new Choir Director in my Ward!!! I can't help but laugh! The timing isn't ideal just because the Christmas Sunday program is right around the corner, which usually consists of mostly music. I am scrambling to get something put together that we can prepare in time.

As of today, I have the music picked out and I'm feeling really good about it. It will be fun, challenging, and really good for me. So...go to choir and support your director!!!!!!

Hopefully you can gather more tenors for your ward choir than we do...I get lonely!
On the plus side, I am more confident singing a part by myself than I had been before.

You'll do a great job! I think that would be a fun (and challenging) calling. Good luck with the program. I think you're the perfect person for the job.

Haha...funny how things like that work! I hope you have supportive members...I feel really bad for our choir director because last Sunday she only had 3 or 4 7 year old girls, her husband and son, the sister missionaries, and Josh! I couldn't participate because Carter would not allow that. I just think it sad that not more people come out to sing! I know timing can be tough and people are hungry after church...but there is a reason that there is choir in the organization of the church! Anyways...hope you have fun and that your program comes together smoothly.

GO AMY! I enjoy going to ward choir, however the turnout isn't much to discuss. You are so great with music I am excited for you! Good luck! Christmas is the best time to sing praises!

Isn't that the way it goes...the same thing happened with me and YW. So I have decided to keep my mouth shut from now on because it always backfires on me! You will do awesome though, our ward needs a choir director like you.
