A family picture

We finally took a family picture with all four of us today. It's weird that we were a family of two and now we're a family of four. Sounds so grown up.

When I was a week out of having Lucy I remember looking in the mirror and thinking, man... I look dang skinny! I didn't really, but I felt like a super model after losing 20ish pounds in a week.:) Amy... you really do look great, like a super model. I mean, the rest of the family looks great, but I guess since I can relate to you best, i think you look the best.
I can only imagine how tired you are. My mom said she saw your mom at the temple and she told her that she went to bed at 12 one night and woke up at 5 or so and realized you hadn't gone to bed yet. I got the biggest knot in my stomach for you. The system is a little messed up in my opinion. The one who labors and delivers and also has to recover from a terribly draining ordeal also gets to be up all night long, not recovering! Oh, joy! At the same time though... i really wanted to be the Lucy as much as possible, even at night, I just loved holding her and feeding her. i didn't mind the no sleep at first until it caught up with me... Do your best and let everyone do everything for you as much as possible.

Are you coming home for Christmas?
Did you hear Dixie is engaged she is getting married on Dec 22 in SLC.
We will be in Idaho and ready to party with Twins, if you are there around new years.

Let me know
I love ya... and I love looking at your blog... thanks for letting us in on all the juicy antipardom, growing bigger, baby fluids, and baby arrival details!

Amy and Shane ~

We are SO excited for you guys. We hope you are coherent enough to read all these well wishes from family and friends! I wish so bad that you lived just a tad bit closer. I am nothing if not a great baby holder!!

Good luck with the two little ones as they figure out their new world (and as you figure out yours!)

We love you guys and are glad you have moved on to the next chapter in your lives.
